I am paying $60/year for family plan, but the significant cost was the time and frustration getting things running. Very fair point about the economics of support given the price. The most sensitive websites do work on 1Password so that is good enough for me. Basically, my workaround is to keep Chrome auto fill-in running and use that only for the websites for which 1Password does not work. I didn't find answers to my questions right away but for the time being, I have things working OK, and I don't think it's worth the effort to optimize things further. I am paying $18/year, so it seems reasonable that live support options are somewhat limited or non-existing. It’s unlikely that my issue is unique and so I usually find an answer there. Personally, I first use their support forums whenever I have a question or issue. Perhaps they are a bit overwhelmed by LastPass refugees migrating to 1Password? In the past, 1Password support has been responsive to my email questions. 1Password does not seem to be able to integrate the app and website login URL for one entity, they have to be managed separately, unless I am missing something. All my credit cards and financial accounts were this way.

What was also laborious was manually entering the new complex password for sites where I use an app for my phone and a website for my computer. I did think of starting over, editing the CSV file first but the problem was that I did not know which of the duplicates to delete. I don’t know if Chrome was ignoring that, or if I just noticed them since I logged into everything.
Some sites do disallow autofill or paste. In Chrome on iOS it sometimes just shows the generic Passwords button in the same way. I’ve seen some sites where 1Password doesn’t pop up the “button” to fill the credentials, but it does have the icon in the text field, and you can use that.

I ended up with a manual process of copying the password, opening the site, deleting the password so that 1Password would save the credentials, and pasting the password into the save dialog. I also had issues where the stored URL in Chrome was obsolete. It also uses the hostnames instead of the site name that 1Password would have picked by default. You could edit the CSV file to fix that part (I didn’t see a way to do bill deletes in 1Password, but I don’t have the app). The export CSV file has a line for each URL, so you get duplicate entries in 1Password. In summary, it has enhanced my computer security, but adopting it has been a laborious and frustrating process. Emails to customer support have been ignored or responded to with canned information obviously pasted from what is already on their website, not addressing specific issues and ignoring request for live support. There is no live chat or telephone support. 1Password's customer support has been a total fail. So my question is whether anyone has any further suggestions on fixing those? There just seem to be some websites that do not trigger 1Password's login fill-ins.

On my Android, I have been unable to get 1Password to autofill or suggest fill-in credentials for the Schwab website (the Schwab app is working and that is probably good enough), and a few other websites, including Bogleheads. Perhaps there is a better way to do all this? Similarly, some entities have both a website and app for login and each have to be manually updated with the same password, which is tedious. Once I began to use 1Password, it created problems because any duplicate URL's for an entity had to be manually deleted, as they did not have my updated password. One issue that took time to clean up was that Chrome's password manager (which I imported to 1Password) had several different URL's with my login credentials for a given entity, because some have multiple login port of entries. I worked through it and so far I have successfully changed passwords to much more secure ones for sensitive sites/apps. After watching videos that painted a rosy picture of a fast and painless transition I was disappointed. I've spent about 10 hours so far on the process, including cleaning up the imported logins from Chrome, changing passwords, and trying to troubleshoot getting 1Password to work on all apps/website on my Android. In the hope of managing expectations for users like me, here's my experience with 1Password so far, and I have one question: Prior to plunging in, I watched a couple of youtube videos and reviewed introductory information on 1Password's website.

I consider myself moderately adept as a software user and troubleshooter. Thanks to softwaregeek for his great thread "SoftwareGeek's Guide to Computer Security" which inspired me to start using a password manager.
